Upcoming Dancehall Artiste Ibrah ShaMar who is under DBJ Records, a label Owned by DBJ was set to release his long awaited music video titled Naah joke only for video director Prince Dovlo to flop the video.
According to the label Prince Dovlo and the DBJ Records Team met at The West Hills Mall and agreed on a deal to shoot the video. Prince Dovlo also kept postponing the shoot for the video which made the team lose lot of money especially on transport anytime he told them to pass by for the shoot.
According to the concept Prince Dovlo said he would need a model a dancer an indoor scene and a party scene for the video, Only for an indoor scene to be shot. He told the team to come for one last scene to be shot in a different studio but on that day he shot it at the same studio he shot the first one but did not include it in the video.
The question is Why then did he make them shoot the video in that studio. When you watch the trailer Ibrah ShaMar wore the same costume and had the same background in the video for 45 seconds when he changed three times.
It was understood the background was not going to be what was in the trailer but you could even see the woman dancing touched the cloth and it moved to our eyes. Releasing the video was a problem because Dovlo saw them to be kids, someone who went on tv to say Artistes aren’t helping the industry because they dont recommend the video director to other artiste. Why should they.
This is not the first time an upcoming artiste has complained about Prince Dovlo or is it because he has worked with Bigger Artiste thats why he is treating the upcoming artiste like that?
