Actor and Musician Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly called Lil Win has made some donations to Kumawood veteran actor King Aboagye Brenya and one-time local gospel sensation, Prophet Seth Frimpong.
The founder of Boss Nation Records was in the company of local gospel musician Bro Sammy and experienced Kumawood actor, Akrobeto. The donation was made at the family home of ace actor King Aboagye Brenya who is believed to have taken ill a number of years ago. The illness took him off the screens and forced him to stay at home. He was being catered for by his wife who explained how it had become difficult to foot some of the medical charges of the experienced actor.
A cash donation was also made to Prophet Seth Frimpong who had also been battling with diabetes for the past 2 years. Seth Frimpong who is soon to release a gospel song with Bro Sammy earlier last month appealed for support from well-meaning Ghanaians to help him find his feet and to also get back into the music industry. Prophet Seth Frimpong had early recounted how his wife and some friends abandoned him when he was bedridden. He also called on all those who had promised him any form of help to come to his aid in his trying moment.
The donation comprised food items and toiletries which were presented by actor Akrobeto. The celebrities indicated that they were made aware of the plight of the veterans on social media.
Both beneficiaries of the benevolence of Lil Win and the Boss Nation Crew were full of praises for the good work they had done and for sharing their wealth with them at the time they needed it most.
King Aboagye Brenya is noted for the many roles he played in kumawood-directed movies and Prophet Seth Frimpong is noted for his hit gospel song, “Okumchorla”.
